Online Registration Now Closed for Kandahar 2009 Race
Kandahar Kombi Race Schedule – Sunday, January 11th, 2009
Mt. Hood Meadows, Oregon
The Kid's Kandahar is a Kombi format. A Kombi race is a combination of SL and GS sections that utilizes mountain terrain and all around skiing skills. Stubbie SL gates will be utilized in the SL sections. There may be built in terrain on the course, rolls and spines. The Kombi will be a 2 run event for J3/J5 Mitey Mite racers only.
There will be a separate one run GS race for the 8 and under competitors. The 8U course will be left up for timed runs after the race run is completed.
NOTE: Online registration closes Thursday, 1/8 @ 12:00 noon.

Two Separate Courses:
J7 & J6 Skiers’ Left - City League Start
J5 – J3 Skiers’ Right – Upper Start
1st Run – (J5-J3) 10:00
1st Run - (J7-J6) 11:00
2nd Run Course Inspection (J5 – J3): 11:30
2nd Run - J7 & J6: immediately following first run
2nd Run (J5 -J3) 12:30
Note: J7 & J6 racers will be allowed multiple timed runs until the course is closed. The time for the first run is the only time that counts.
